Verified companions
Beside pairs you with a verified companion trained to simply be present. No advice, no obligation, no expectation of friendship. They show up, stay, and listen if you speak.
Remote focus sessions
For ADHD brains and chronic procrastinators, starting is the hard part. A focus session is body doubling: a calm, verified companion on video while you do the thing.
Hard moments, remote or in person
01
The waiting room, the scan, the drive-home wait. Someone in the next chair.
02
Signing, resigning, leaving, moving. Room to think out loud, or not at all.
03
The first visit, the empty flat, the anniversary. Company without the casseroles.
04
A diagnosis, an ending, a door closing. Presence without questions.
01
A two-hour focus block on Tuesday. A scan on the 14th. A call you have been putting off. Say what it is, as much or as little as you like.
02
We pair you with a verified, trained companion who is free when you need them. You see who they are before the session.
03
On video, or beside you in person. They arrive on time, stay the whole session, and listen if you speak. Then they leave, with nothing owed.
Plenty of services fill the gap with something else. We kept only the part that matters: a verified, trained human who simply stays.
Pay for the session you book. No packages to buy before launch.

No. Companions are not therapists or counsellors and they do not give advice. Beside is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call your local emergency number now.
Every companion passes an identity check and a background check before their first session, then completes Beside training on simply being present: arriving on time, staying, listening without steering, and respecting your boundaries.
No. Silence is a perfectly good session. Your companion follows your lead: talk, work, sit, or wait together.
Body doubling. You and your companion join a video call, you say what you will work on, and they stay with you while you do it. Many people with ADHD or a procrastination habit find that another calm human present is what gets them started.
Where your moment is: a hospital waiting room, a clinic, an appointment, a public place you choose. You set the place and time when you book.
Yes, for remote focus sessions. Its price will be announced at launch; people on the waitlist hear first.
